VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers in actionThe Alliance does not employ paid staff and operates completely through the dedication and hardwork of its volunteers. For that reason the Alliance is always  looking for new members and others willing to donate their time, talents and enthusiasm to help protect the Buffalo Creek Watershed and its resources. The Alliance would certainly appreciate your involvement through any of the following:

  • organizing events (plantings, cleanups, education programs)
  • becoming a Board member
  • water quality monitoring
  • tree and buffer plantings
  • stream cleanups
  • writing press releases, newsletter articles, etc.
  • website maintenance
  • recruting new members, speakers bureau
  • provide special expertise (i.e. engineering, landscape architecture, ecology)
  • working with landowners
